The Prophet64 is also available as free trial software if you wish to evaluate it before purchasing the Cartridge. These applications use DIN-sync and works with both joystick and potentiometer.
You can transfer the disk image file to a real C64 or run it in an emulator.

Compared to the Prophet64 Cartridge, these versions are quite limited lacking both functionality and audio quality found in the Cartridge software.
They still give a good preview of the software though, if you like them, you'll love the Prophet64 Cartridge!
